Vision SSTMCA Envisions a Dynamic South Sudanese Community in Arizona.

Currently, the Center is experiencing financial hardship, especially over the last several months when we have all be impacted by the pandemic. The income of the center has been based primarily on the community members’ contributions. Both the members’ capacity to contribute and the second revenue stream, fees charged for events that take place at the center, have fallen. Due to the COVID-19, the center has been forced to closed its doors to preserve public health and safety. This means that new methods of offering remote services need to be developed. Recently, the South Sudan Twic Mayardit Community of Arizona had received an approval letter from the IRS indicating that SSTMCA is now a charitable organization and a 501 C (3) non-profit organization. Our current challenge is how to maintain the center at this moment in time. We are wishing for any goodwill donations or contributions from individuals or corporations to sustain and keep the center active. Mission SSTMCA’s purpose of responding to the needs of the South Sudanese-Americans in Arizona and to help facilitate service needed by the growing community of South Sudanese.
