The South Sudan Twic Mayardit Community of Arizona. A non-profit organization based in Phoenix to respond to the needs of the South Sudanese-Americans in Arizona, SSTMCA was established in 2018. Arizona is home to a large population of South Sudanese and Sudanese refugees and immigrants.
The center is a place where South Sudanese, Sudanese, and other immigrants congregated to share memories and celebrations of their cultures.
Our goal is to preserve our culture and heritage by enabling our younger members to learn more from/about our culture and to teach them the South Sudanese way of life. Aims and Objectives • To establish a coordinated effort to facilitate, improve communication, support those in need by contributing to the well-being of our people in Arizona. •
